Hello, i'm new here.
First sorry for my bad english 🙁
Okay, i want to install second hdd in my pc, i got a hdd with windows inside which i don't need because i have already os in my primary hdd.
The problem is, i'm scared that these two os will conflict with each other. I want to keep all data and files in hdd wich i want to put in pc but no need for os. My primay os which i need is win 7- 32bit other unnesecery is win7-64bit.
Thanks in advance.

He says he wants to keep all the files on the second HDD, so formatting it is maybe not such a good idea ...

To answer your question, yolostiimeriino:
You can connect the second HDD to your PC without problems.
Just make sure your UEFI/BIOS is configured to only boot from your first HDD and you'll be okay.

Of course, the unnecessary Windows 7 64-bit takes up storage space on your second disk ... so once it is connected, you can check if there is sufficient room on the first HDD to copy all your personal files there temporarily.
If there is, you can copy them from HDD2 to HDD1 and then format the second disk. You can do that from the Explorer, no need to open Disk Management.
After that, simply copy the files back to HDD2...
With the power off and system disconnected from the power source,

1. Open up your case and install the secondary HDD.
Find the key for your BIOS. Look at your motherboards manual or look at the BIOS splash screen in advance as it comes up for the key to press.
Once installed correctly, connect your power back up and switch on your PC. You will now need to access the BIOS.

To do this press the designated key for accessing the BIOS of your pc.
It only lasts about a second or two so you will have to be quick once you have switched on your PC.

2. Once you are in your BIOS you will be able to configure the boot sequence priority. This is where you will want your os primary HDD in first place. This will make sure your PC starts with your Windows 7 installation and not try to access the one on the new HDD.

Once this is done you must save & exit the BIOS. Your system will restart.

3. Once you are back inside Windows. Go to Disk Management by right clicking the Start button and clicking "Disk Managment".
Inside the management window you will notice your primary os which will have Disk (...) displayed on the left of it. The new HDD should show underneath as another disk.

To format this drive and clear it of all data, right click > Format. (Make sure you are formatting the correct drive)

If the drive is colored black and is shown as "Unallocated", follow these steps: http://www.dummies.com/computers/pcs/how-to-use-unallocated-drive-space-in-windows/

Hope this helps.

That way, you'll have a few extra GBs available on your HDD2 for more files.
