[SOLVED] HDDScan SMART test greyed out?

The SMART button in HDDScan is greyed out.

I've tried installing the latest version, switched between hard drives, and the button is still greyed out.

I've dropped my hard drive just before this (I'm probably over-worrying but), is there any way to either:
A) Un-grey the button
B) Do a smart/health test another way?

HDDScan is detecting an Initio INIC3639 USB-SATA bridge IC in the enclosure. It's unlikely, but it could be that HDDScan cannot pass ATA SMART commands through the bridge to the SSD. GSmartControl is another tool which may be able to reach the SSD.

In any case dropping an SSD is highly unlikely to do any damage.
