Question HDMI 2.0 or Thunderbolt to DVI-D for 144 or 120 hz

Hello,

I have a Dell 7577 laptop with ports specified in here and here as well as my BenQ XL2411Z with ports specified here under "Connectivity" section.

Which are

• Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports
• One USB 3.1 Gen 1 port with PowerShare
• Thunderbolt 3 (USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C) port/DisplayPort
• One HDMI 2.0a (up to 4K support) port

for the Dell 7577 laptop and

• 1x HDMI (1.4 from what I know)
• 1 x DVI-D Dual Link
• 1 x D-Sub

for my BenQ XL2411Z monitor.

I want to get 144 or 120 hz output at my native 1920x1080 resolution but I don't know which type of converters I can use. I'm looking for suggestions, thank you very much.

You might want to consider buying a monitor that has native DP input. Read through this thread.
