[SOLVED] HDMI and Display Port to DVI or VGA

If I have a Ryzen 4650g APU, a motherboard (MSI A520M pro) with HDMI, DP and VGA connections, an old 1280x1024 monitor (SyncMaster 172x) with VGA (on monitor it says "RGB") and DVI-D connections and a VGA cable, would I get better quality using HDMI/DP to DVI cable? And if so, would there be a noticeable difference between HDMI and DP?

That monitor can output only 1280x1024 resolution.
You will see no difference between VGA/HDMI/DVI on that resolution.
