HDMI cable and monitor power

After I inject the HDMI cable, my monitor is going immediately to the power saving mode. My other cable didn't show this problem. Cable problem or what? What's the deal? Bit frustrated. The monitor isn't even giving any second. Straight to off.

Monitor- Dell S2240L
GFX card- AMD Sapphire R7 250 (1 GDDR5)

Ahh someone replied. Yes I thought that too and changed the cable. That showed another prob;em The Dell monitor was going to the power saving mode as soon a I powered it. I am so baffled.

It'll be one year next February. A problem occurred last year & Dell changed it promptly with RMA. Just suggest me anything. I really take care of my system as much as I can.

Oh brother!! It's a bit problem to check the system with another monitor for me you know! Oh I love this monitor like my boy. It's already an exchanged monitor. I am really sad. Would Dell replace it for the second time? If they ask, what reason I'd be showing?

Actually I meant the same but messed up with words. Sorry. I would try to do that. Can I use a laptop for the test?

I nearly forgot. I thought that the cable had a problem and changed the cable. That showed another problem The Dell monitor was going to the 'power saving mode' as soon a I powered it. Why does it happen you moron?

a laptop is a computer is it not so yes on laptop to test monitor. that is between you & dell on your money back. what did you pay for it? the reason for the 'power saving mode' I think has to do with the monitor's video controller not detecting the computer.

Feared so. Thought if PSU was the problem, the PSU would show other problems beside it right? Asking you frequently because I get curious. I got a R7 250 1GDDR5. Planned to buy GT 730 2GDDR5. Matter is that GT is 40% slower than R7, even the memory is 2 GB?

Come on man! I'm really relying upon you! What do you suggest? I asked Sapphire for RM. It takes nearly 1 month to get replacement! I gotta sale it to someone and buy another within this budget. I am perplexed. What should I get?

Photoshop CS, Photoplus, Rendering.
As a gamer- CoD B.O 3 in lower setting, AS Creed Syndi lower setting but sucked as hell. My desktop is next to my camera, my life and my workstation. I love it like my body part and I am serious. May be my demand is more than my ability but but I always feed good and fresh things to my desktop.

So, what do you think friend?
