Hi..I have an older Samsung HDTV model # LN2B2350F2D. I have a Roku 1 that I want to use in that room with that older tv, but the HDMI cable plug is too big. I bought an adapter, but that plug is too small. Anyone know how I can get this to work? Thank you! Donna
Can you show a picture? there is 3 main hdmi types:https://i0.wp.com/tethertalk.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/HDMI-1.jpg?resize=500%2C301&ssl=1. It is also possible that is is display port rather than HDMI

The plug on the TV looks like a connector has broken off in it. Try to pull on the part protruding from the HDMI socket on the tv. then try to plug the big hdmi cable into the tv without an adapter.
