something in nvidia control panel is really bothering me, please have a look

In this screenshot (on the right segment below the connector). Should'nt it be HDMI to monitor rather than HDMI To HDTV ???

picture quality and text on monitor also looks kinda off. What i am thinking that nvidia control panel thinks that my output source is TV rather than monitor. please help 🙁

Solution
you wanna get a better picture, manually changing the naming won´t help. It really doesn´t matter what is written there. If something is odd, you will have to try another hdmi cable or other monitor settings or RMA the ASUS.

Which nvidia drivers are installed?
try ddu uninstaller, delete all previously installed graphics drivers (if another video card was installed, AMD as well)
and reinstall the latest driver from nvidia.com

you can try the monitor with another PC or with integrated graphics of your own PC

try splendid in OSD menu of the monitor and try different settings

calibrate colors in windows 10

some more information...
