HDMI Input Looks like trash

Hey guys i just got a new 24 inch insignia monitor.

Before this i had a 24 inch insignia monitor with VGA connection and a smaller 19 inch insignia monitor with HDMI connection and everything looked fine. but i decided to upgrade and to get another 24 inch monitor to match and this one is the year newer model and doesnt have a VGA input on it so i had to use HDMI and it makes it look so bad and washed out. iv literally tried everything i could find on the internet and its driving me crazy im at the point where im gonna try and return it

It will look all JPEG-y until you change the Pixel format to 4:4:4 or RGB Full or 10bit or 12bit color. The default is 4:2:2 compresses color or something.

I tried that and it still didnt work

Yeah still looks the same if not worse

1) Try reinstalling NVidia drivers and use the custom-> Clean install method so it should apply defaults.

2) Did you try hooking up a different PC, or BluRay drive?

3) Contact tech support?

Might just be a bad monitor. Insignia isn't what I'd call good.

Wierd though cus the other monitor i have is the same brand hmm maybe this ones faulty then
