I wonder if anyone can assist....
I understand the basic use of hdmi over IP, but I want to have multiple sources going to 1 receiver.... Is this possible... How would it switch between one and the other... Or is it a case of needing more of an expensive matrix arrangement with separate controller.... ?

What receiver?
HDMI for above 1080p would require 10GE and possibly compression.
