My monitor works fine when i turn it on without changing display, but when i switch display from TV to monitor it flickers non stop and never stabilizes. I just got a new GPU the 4090, i have a LG CX. The TV doesn't flicker at all its just the computer monitor, never had the problem on my old 3090 GPU. All the settings are correct in display settings as far as i can tell and i have reinstalled drivers but nothing works. Any advice? The HDMI cable and GPU are brand new.

This is the cable:

This is the GPU:

This is the monitor:

And the TV is the LG CX.

Did you use DDU to rid your platform of GPU drivers prior to replacing the RTX3090 with an RTX4090? If not, use DDU to rid your platform of all GPU drivers(even non NVidia drivers) and then manually reinstall with the latest drivers sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Adminsitrator.
