So i got this new PC with Gigabyte H110M-S2H motherboard which has an HDMI output. Also I got this new monitor IPS an LG 22MP68VQ. First I used the monitor with a VGA cable. I connect the cable to the VGA output of the motherboard because I don't have a Graphics Card yet. As soon as I grabbed a HDMI cable i used it for the PC but when I started the PC after booting up and after the "Starting Windows" screen, the monitor goes black and shows the "No-Signal" Message and turns off. But, it turns back on if i unplug and plug back the hdmi cable but this is not a solution since it's very frustrating. I tried enter in safe mode uninstall drivers reinstall them but nothing seems to work.

So guys can you help me out ? Is this a problem of the monitor or drivers ? I am using an Intel Graphics 530 HD GPU . Please help me out .

Solution
Hard to say what that is. Properly certified cables will have it labeled as cat 2 or high speed.

Think about trying another cable and see if that fixes your startup issues.

I think i installed them. Because I didnt had any connectioon or DVD Writer I had to download them manually so I think I installed them all.

Ok I've managed to install the drivers apparently my graphics driver was newer than the one that he scanned or something, i mean it said that my graphics drivers is newer and if i want to install an older one anyway and i said no, but now again restarted only HDMI after Starting Windows, appears no signal and i have to press monitor menu then monitor input and select hdmi.

Isn't a way to setup the HDMI as default ?

hmm i am using the ps3 hdmi cable? would this be the problem ?

OK Right now im on the TV and IT STARTED NORMALLY Like it should !!!! HDMI and no "No Signal" Message just Welcome and that's it . SO What's the problem !!!?

My guess is freesync which the TV doesn't have and works normally and PS3 cable being v1.3a could be not 100% compatible with Freesync. Im trying to find out but so far information is limited. I've seen people suggesting v1.4 and v2a cable recommended for freesync.

Can you turn off freesync in the monitor menu, what happens then with the monitor?

So this is what i asked you as a side question: When i turn off the freesync the colors turns pale and the freshrate is under 60hz, when i turn it on (on hdmi) the colors are bright and alive and the freshrate is 75 hz. It could be what you are saying about versions . But i don't know yet

I get No signal while i have the freesync turned off. Haven;t tried it ON

Just something to read up on. Genuine PS3 hdmi cable being 1.3a spec should be adequate since it is working just a bit flaky on startup. 1.4spec hdmi cable looks like what you may need.

Can i send you a pic with the cable? I don't think i know how a genuine ps3 hdmi cable looks but can you recognize a 1.3a cable by looking at him ?
