I'm not sure if this subforum is the right one for that question, apologies if it isn't.

With the recent release of the Switch 2, i have decided to upgrade my console gaming setup a bit, since this new console supports 120FPS and/or 4k resolution depending on the games. I currently do not have any 4k display and don't really plan on getting one for the moment, i do however have 1440p monitors that have a supported framerate superior than 120FPS.
Up until now, i've been playing my console games using a capture card passthrough, the reasons for that being that 1) it lets me use my headphones for the audio instead of the monitor speakers and 2) i can stream games to my friends.
This worked fine until now, but the capture card I have doesn't support 1440p or 120FPS. Instead of buying a new capture card that'd support those, i decided to just get the console plugged into a HDMI splitter, and have the splitter output to my monitor and to my capture card. I already have a splitter and it does work... But the switch 2 detects the lower resolution/framerate of the capture card as the maximum output it can use (i tried removing the splitter and directly connecting the console to my monitor and sure enough i can use 1440p with up to 120fps that way)

So i need to buy a new splitter, and after doing some research i've learned that what i need seems to be a splitter with downscaling functionalities, because if it doesn't either i'll run into the scenario above (max resolution/framerate capped) or the lower resolution display may get a signal it doesn't understand and display nothing i think? Basically, what i need is being able to output in 1440p120fps on one screen and 1080p60fps on another.

I did some research, and found the FeinTech SP210 HDMI Splitter, which seems to do what i want, if i understand correctly. I'm not sure about multiple things tho: is this kind of product what i need to solve my problem or do i need something completely different? And is this product good for that purpose, or are there cheaper (but good) alternative? I don't know HDMI hardware companies at all, so i don't know if you need to go with some big trustworthy brand (and if feinTech is one of those) or if as long as its not a company with a randomly generated name from amazon you can get it with no issues.

Should i order this splitter, or something else? For reference i'm in france, i don't know if brands/products are the same as in the US or not
