HDMI splitter with duo monitors problem

Ok so basically I got a hdmi splitter for my duo monitors because theres only one hdmi port and the dvi port is taken by my 3rd monitor so the hdmi is the last port i got, I plugged the hdmi splitter in allong with my monitors but it just makes both of them my main, i was wondering is there any way i can fix this problem?

The problem is the splitter. A slitter splits the main signal into two identical signals to display the same image on both screens. You need an HDMI switch to over come this problem. With a switch, you can add more HDMI ports to the monitor from different devices (computers, consoles ect.). You can also just use the DVI ports on your two other monitors, and just HDMI on the other one to solve this.
