Hello, i have been using an HDMI to VGA converter on my rx 460 for quite a while now, but found one of my older monitors and decided why not use dual monitors? so i got another hdmi to vga converter today all was nice and well, until after 5 minutes. my adapter(the older one) started turning off for 1-2 seconds and then on again for 5 minutes and so on.

Is there a way i could fix this or do i need to get another one?

P.S.

I am sure it is the old one, because i wrote on the new one the date i bought it.

Solution
I would test using the working adapter.
Plug the working one into the HDMI port on your PC that the other one was having issues with.
ALSO, connect that to the monitor that the other adapter was having issues with.

If the only difference is the adapter and working one makes it work fine then you'll likely have to buy a new one or call the manufacturer for a potential repair or replacement.

Right now, i am using the old adapter again (on single monitor) and no issues so far. im guessing it's only happening when im using both of them (when i'm using both monitors the one to shutdown is always the one hooked to the old adapter)

The monitors are: Belinea 1925 S1W ( the one i found lying around)
Samsung SyncMaster 940n (the one i normally use)

I have exactly the same problem. Did you find any solution?
