Hi, I have a 5 yr. old Dell XPS Desktop computer that I would like to use to record and play back OTA
TV shows on my LCD TV. I don't know if the components in it are up to the task.
XPS 410, Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6320 1.86 Ghz
2 GB DDR2 Sdram
Nvidia GeForce 7300 LE
I know I'd need to change the video card and I need the HDMI output from it. It's running XPP, but I can upgrade I think to Windows 7. If I need to upgrade more than that, I think I should look for a cheaper newer machine. Building one is out of my area of expertise. What say you? I would buy the SiliconDust HD dual tuner for it.
