Question HDR stopped working, it will not use 2.0 hdmi mode

So I have posted on nvidia's forums and no answer yet, but you guys/gals always seem to find a solution,
My HDR has been working till 3 days ago. It disappeared from the windows Display settings, no on/off switch and I ran dxdiag and saved file and it says not HDR compatible, I hook my laptop to it and it works and dxdiag file says Compatible, I have tried a lot of different things, here is my post on

I have been playing Res Evil 2 remastered, witch is a graphics Hog lol, and in hdr mode then a couple days ago it completely stopped working and disappeared from my Windows display settings. Every game that has a hdr on/off settings are blacked out but not the dlss. There was no windows update done or driver for Card, I did just update to 430.39 today to see if that help but no. hdr works for my other devices. So any help would be appreciated.

Edit: So I have narrowed down my problem, I change my tv settings to force 2.0 hdmi connection and the tv gets no signal, only when I put it on auto or 1.4 will the display come back on but hdr will not work on 1.4 so I am still trying to figure out what to do.

I tried restarting this that and the other but cant get the dam HDR to come back on, when I force the hdmi back and forth from 2.0 back to 1.4 my tv will say its in hdr mode but the still not in the windows display options and it's still grayed out in the games display options so stumped

Do you think it's the HDMI cable or your TV/PC?

I've had fun with HDR output over HDMI... it's almost certainly down to the cable. HDMI 2.0 / HDR requires additional shielding and thicker wires to get a strong enough signal. The longer the cable the worse the issue.

And like i said it was working and still works on my other computer same cable and switched cables Im starting to think its the card
