Headphone acting as left audio

I recently got this problem some how whenever i put my my headphones on front panel audio jack the sound seems to come from both devices simounteniously then i did a sound test with left and right speaker test when i did test the sound from left came from my headphone and but speaker seems to work fine i have an asus motherboard i updated every drivers and degraded it doesn't seem to work and it doesn't even recognize my front audio panel that a device is been plugged in.

Please help us with the motherboard you are using. Try to uninstall the Realtek audio driver and restart the system. Go with the default windows 10 driver.

I am using windows 10 proffesional 64 bit and Asus A68HM mother board. speakers play together even headphone but only left side and my computer dosent act as the headphone is plugged in

Did you check the settings on the realtek audio manager? Only one device connected works fine? both the ports(back and front)?

Both devices work it shows only one device connected in

The "gear" in the top right of the panel has the options for speakers.
Try going into the Realtek HD Audio Manager (Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Realtek HD Audio Manager), then look for a setting called 'Make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously'

In playback devices check the settings.

Cannot find that option and I did select a setting called separate all input jack as independent device but did not make change

it seems to work without speaker HD audio doesn't work without speaker but I am still getting sound only from left ear

Just fixed it adjusted the wire that connects to front panel it was little loose so therefore there was less connection now it works perfectly thanks for your time
