Headphones get the lit up yet don't work?

Hey,

Somehow my headphones stopped working for a weird reason - simply died.

Although when I plug them in little led is lit up on headphones - meaning they get the power from PC yet PC or my Macbook don't see it.

Any ideas?

1| Can you please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS and your audio equipment? Guessing will take us more time to reach a solution.
2| If the headset is USB driven, make sure your drivers for your headset are in order.
3| Not all headsets are compatible with Mac's so as stated before you may want to see if the headset might require you to download driver for proper functionality.
