Headphones not recognised Win7 64bit

[strike]Motherboard audio not working.[/strike]
Realtek Audio Manager disappeared and is no showing up on computer, although it is present when going through programs to uninstall.
This only started happening randomly about a week ago.
Below is working/not working options.

- 2 pairs of headphones and earbuds ALL don't work when connected directly to motherboard or to case audio ports.
- ALL work when plugged into monitor, BenQ xl2420t.
- Headphones work when plugged into included DAC, into mobo and side port.

Sounds to me like your realtek chip is dead. Just use the dac till you can replace your mobo.
