Headphones not working anymore

Heey,

My JBL T300 headphones don't work anymore the problem is is that there is no sound on one side... I wanted to repair it by connecting a new plug but I do not know how the wires should be connected... I tried to figure it out by gently cutting the old plug without success. So I hope you guys can help me with the wires... I really don't wanna buy new headphones because I do not have much money.

So there are two wires together one right and one left. The left one has a microphone (volume control) on it. When I cut the LEFT wire and strip it there are, white, red, blue and copper where the white is just a protector of another copper coloured wire.The RIGHT wire has only green and red.

I hope you guys can help me with this!
