Its a difficult issue so I hope I explain it right (Sorry for English languages faults)

The Setup :

Tritton AX720+ Headset
Creative Xi-Fi Fatility Edition
Win 10

The install :

Latest drivers from Creative
USB cable plugged in the PC
Optical Cable to Xi-Fi

No matter how I set I up, or install it. My PC only gives sound trough the USB of the headset.
If I go to configuration screen and to a test on USB Device (triton) I get sound. if I Do a test on my SPDIF Out it does a test but I don't hear anything..... Its like the USB device overrules my SPDIF

If I put my SPDIF Out als standard I don't hear anything. If I push test it says its registers something but I don't hear nothing. I read somewhere that I have to activate Dolby Digital Live. So I went to my Creative Control Panel and activated it. Now I get absolutely nothing. My SPDIF gets muted automatically and I get a warning ''This Audio Device is being used by another App''

I get sound trough USB but nothing trough SPDIF. I'm not using the headset full potential...
Also it states somewhere that lights need to change on the AMP of the triton.. Nothings happens there

I'm all out of options...

Anybody can help me with this ?

Troubleshoot

I'm assuming you have external speakers plugged into the PC. When you right click volume icon > click Playback devices > Select "Speakers (Realtek High Def Audio)" and Set Default, you hear nothing?

I have No External Speaker connected.

Only the Tritton Headset and the Asus monitor via HDMI.
Nothing with 3.5mm jacks is connected

Nothing is connected to the Realtek High def. so indeed No Sound

First things first. Do you see Digital Audio (S/PDIF) device in Device Manager? Hopefully so. Uninstall it in Device Manager. Restart the system. If still no sound, Uninstall Creative AND uninstall the listening device you were using before you installed Creative. Keep the headset plugged in and restart the system.

Uninstall the Realtek and disabled it in the BIOS also --> No sound
if u unstinstall Creative --> No sound only trough the USB
The HDMI problem I can only test sunday

but until now... no success
