Question Headset mic low volume

Hello, so I used my headset microphone for like 4-5 months and yesterday it just almost stopped picking up my voice.I literally have to scream so my friends can hear me. I've tried to boost it, I've tried to update the drivers,I've restarted my pc a couple of times and nothing fixed it.Does someone know how to fix this issue?

Make and model of your mic/headset? You might want to see if you have any BIOS updates pending. On another note, which version of Windows 10 are you working with? If you're running off the onboard audio chip, please pass on the make and model of your motherboard. If your headset is USB driven, remove the device from Device Manager and then restart the system.

Thanks for the reply!The headset is called Roccat Cross and it comes with a cable that has a mic on it and connects to the pc and to the actual headset.The version of my Windows is 1903 and it's the pro one.Anything else?
