So I got myself a nice new headset for xmas, the sennheiser gsp 300. Works wonderfully but I seem to have an issue with the mic that i didn't have on my previous headset.
So basically when I talk normally the sound volume is ok, maybe a bit low, but if i increase the volume of my voice or "scream" then the mic jumps up by like 20dB (it feels like it i don't actually know) automatically and its just unpleasant to hear.
The issue can be heard by turning listen to device in windows settings so i doubt its an external program doing it
Now i did disable "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" in windows and it didn't do anything.
Maybe its another setting in windows, i hope its not the mic but i can just ask for a replacement if needed.
