As the thread title mentions, my headset's mic is not being detected by the software. I'm on Windows 10, have the Asus Prime B350M-A mobo, & the Razer Man O War TE. I recently built this computer, but I'm sure I updated the correct drivers. The BIOS is also updated,

When I connect the headset, the message appears and asks if I plugged in headphones, mic in, or line in. Whenever I select headphone, the mic does not work. When I select mic in, it does however it pure static and I cannot then hear anything from the headphones.

In Sounds, the microphone appears as not connected when headphones is plugged in, and vice versa.

Anyone have a solution? I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have Synapse installed?

Is this the wireless one or wired? If its wireless it won't show up in Realtek HD Audio manager (it only works for analog or digital, not USB)

in realtek options, have you messed with the choices under Playback device and Recording Device

Does headset run off 1 3.5mm jack or two?

If you're connecting it to the front panel try to do it directly into the motherboard from the back of your computer, it worked for me. Had the same issue. Plus, make sure that in playback and recording settings you have your headset as your default.

No, I don't have Synapse installed. It's a wired headset running off a single 3.5mm jack.

Yep, headset is set as default. However, as previously mentioned, it's either the microphone or speaker that is detected. They don't seem to be detected at the same time unless I switch to AC97 Front Panel, but then the microphone begins to produce pure static. I'm sure it's not the headset, since it works fine on my other computer.
