headset splitter question

so my question is, if i get that....on the game i play i hit V to talk, so on my head/mic earbuds do i have to hit V and the button on the mic to properly talk?

i need a little more info so 2 mics or 1?
for 2 or more different sound outputs?
with a splitter just use the mic you want it will work but dont use both feed back etc

If you can set it to V go ahead and set it. You can try talking in-game and you could ask people if they can hear you.

nevermind i just got a headset. but for future reference my computer has one audio, one mic input.

the earbuds i had, had one input for mic and audio. i found a headset splitt with one female sand two females so the signals would be split.
