Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

I've heard a lot of bad stuff about them. What should i do?

If the system is a prebuilt, contact your systembuilder to change the PSU to something higher in quality. The question is, where are you located? What is your budget for a PSU purchase? If the systembuilder has a site, please link that for us to see what you're getting in the build, besides that bad PSU.

To be fair, most of the bad stuff was about the original TR2 which hasn't been sold in 10 years. The TR2 that came out after that one is no worse than most PSUs in OEM systems but it's up to you if it's worth risking a US$300 GPU and 181 watt i5.

TR2 S is a Europe-only model and the biggest thing is if your builder is cheaping out by specing a $50 PSU for a gaming system, what else are they cheaping out on?

I believe the attraction of many pre-built gaming systems is the price. If the opposition advertise a similar system at a lower cost, guess where the unsuspecting punters will go? After all, they may think "one computer is as good as another, right"? Hopefully, we can help dispell this myth.

The only "pre-builts" in my collection are second hand Dell office desktops and HP servers.
