Thank you for your quick response. One more query. Out of the 2 motherboards, ASUS Z-97A and Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI which is better in respect of heat control and general performance?

That's like asking what's faster for running, blue Nike's or white Nike's. Both are equitable, different brand, some different hardware, connections and mobo software. Performance differences will be those differences according to what fits you better.
