[SOLVED] Heavy cooler make problems?

Hi
I have fx 8350 and for cooling I use cool master ice blade pro2. This cooler is about 900grams!
I read a post which said heavy cooler will Bends the motherboard.
Is it true?

heavy cooler would bend the motherboard for sure.

it's less of an issue if you have a proper mounting back plate or if you lay the motherboard flat.

That's about normal weight for a good size cooler. The noctua nhd15 is closer to 1400g. I dont think you need to worry much about bending, especially as stated above, it has proper mounting hardware. As long as its mounted and you're not constantly moving the pc, it should be mostly a non issue.
