Solution
The SupremeFX chip consists of the same Realtek 1150 chip with extra software features. I would go for the Hero since it is cheaper and has the same if not better sound.

Edit: Also your headset uses a USB connection so it does not matter about what sound card you have

None at all

if i wanted would i be able to get a better sound card than the asus maximus 6 hero's? if i wanted or would that interfere with performance on my GPU? somebody said that if i got a non on board sound card it would interfere with the GPU performance is this true?

Ok awesome so the maximus 6 hero will have a lane that does not share bandwidth with the gpu?

Bottom of the page:

*1: The PCIe 2.0 x16 slot (PCIEX4_3) supports up to x4 mode. It shares bandwidth with PCIe 2.0 x1 slots. The default setting is x1 mode.
*2: The PCIe 2.0 x1 slots (PCIEX1_1/2/3) will be disabled when PCIe 2.0 x16 slot (PCIEX4_3 ) operates under x4 speed.
*3: The supported functions depends on the CPU installed.
*4: These SATA ports are for data hard drives only. ATAPI devices are not supported.
*5: Support ASUS USB 3.0 Boost, UASP standard on the Intel native USB 3.0 is only supported under Windows® 8.
*6: 2 x USB2.0 ports at mid-board shares with ROG extension (ROG_EXT) port.

None of them share the 2 main graphics connectors so it should be fine.

So does that confirm i will be able to use a non on board sound card if i wanted and it wont interfere with my GPU performance?

Thanks man really appreciate all your help! I have a question do you know if your motherboard or GPU or CPU can become infected with malware / virus? to where it can effect gaming performance? or can your HDD and SSD only get infected with virus / malware do i have to worry about my motherboard/CPU being infected or my GPU being infected?

Never heard of the CPU of GPU being infected with a virus. Practically all viruses attack the operating system and they may or may not effect performance but if it really bad just wipe the drive clean and reformat. Obviously use common sense to reduce the chances of infection. Viruses, as far as I know of cannot destroy hardware, only software.

so i dont have to worry about my GPU being infected or my motherboard being infected?

lol so i have nothing to worry about then? ok so i have a windows 7 CD / disc can that disc become infected or no? the fresh re install disc for windows 7?
