Hello! I bought USB FLASH DRIVE online; it's Samsung from China it's 2T. Every time, I save images or any big files, it always disappears. Then about a few days ago, I plugged it into the laptop. then I hit show hidden files. I saw the store-v2 folder, and I saw there my other files that were put aside that were just hidden and I also saw some suspicious files like live.0.directoryStore files, SHADOWINDEXCOMPACTDERECTORY files and many more SHADOW files. It is safe USB or NOT? Thank you in advance for the answer

Open the Disk Management.

Expand the window so all can be seen. Take a screenshot.

If you want to confirm the drive is fake, run H2testw.exe. It writes 1GB files until the drive is full, then reads back/verifies the files and reports the true capacity. The program was written to detect fake SD and microSD cards, but works on USB memory sticks too. It wipes all files on the drive, so backup first.
