Help! 6 GB ram showing 2.97 GB.

Hello,

So I recently purchased Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 (1 x 4 GB) and now I have 6 GB ram in total.
The old one was 1333MHz and Corsair one is 1600MHz so I just changed the setting to 1333MHz.
Now my bios shows 6 GB but windows only says 2.97 GB usable.

Help me to figure out.

Windows 7 32 bit

yea that is why. Windows 32bit support 3.25GB Max and then you probably have onboard video that is taking pu 256MB of ram giving you that 3GB still. To use all that ram you WILL have to REINSTALL WINDOWS from scratch with 64bit.
