Help about monitor disay

Need help in my monitor.
So I am going to build a pretty good gaming pc for playing games..and I have a SAMSUNG 740N monitor..here are the specs of my monitor

I need to know that monitor is sufficient for gaming? Do I get lagging while playing games like GTA V? and I am OK with the resolution..the display is enough sharp and clear... I am using it since 7 years and no problem till now can u play all games with that? Do I get any lagging and stuttering?

I cant afford a new monitor right now because i hav spent all my budget only for CPU so i am ok with it ...just to clarify that will that monitor will be ok for gaming

Lagging and stuttering could come from GPU and rest of system, not from monitor. Relatively slow response time (8ms) can produce some color smearing in fast moving frames but that's all.

So I can play all games without lag or stutter? My pc can run all gamed at ultra but I have a old monitor . Thnx for the help

You can run any games your computer allows without problems providing you stay at resolutions your monitor can display. Programs and games can run even without any monitor but you wouldn't see anything.

You people say that monitor has no role in game fps and smoothness of game performance? So I can play all gamed without lag on my monitor?

Exactly, monitor just displays what computer tells it, no more no less. It has no processing power whatsoever. Only if you choose settings it can't display you may get warning from it that it can't display at that resolution or frequency.
