Question HELP ASAP!!

I installed a new CPU i5-3470
And removed an i3-3240
When I booted it up all I was getting was a “Zoostorm” logo across my screen so I looked into forums about it and they suggested to reset CMOS, so I took the battery out reinstalled it and now all hells gone lose.

When I press the power button the cpu fans rev up like crazy then they go quiet then rev crazy again, then after a minute they stop as if the pc is turning off but then it revs crazy again.
I need your guys help any suggestions?

Not too sure on the mobo but I can check after work what model it is.

Depending on the motherboard is there maybe need for a bios update.
Also check the cpu cooler,that is is snug on all corners.

For the bios update I’d have to put the old cpu back in?

It was powering on and showing the brand logo on screen before I cleared the cmos, once I cleared it and powered it on it wouldn’t even show the logo and the fans went crazy as stated.
What could have caused this ?

ALso mobo is . Gigabyte H61M-DS2 DVI

So i took the GPU out and now it’s working all fixed
Looks like I need a new GPU or such

Still would update that bios if not having this one: "3c Beta BIOS (Improve High-End Display card compatibility)".

So I restarted my pc went into bios and Iran running at 54•c in bios? That’s too hot right?

Also the bios is fully updated and still having GPU issues

That is pretty hot for idle yes.

We're you able to test with another gpu?
