HELP: brand new GPU problem.

so I recently got a new GPU (GTX 960). I installed it normaly. However, once i booted it up my monitor didnt get no signal. Im using an VGA from my mother board connected to my moniter (need to get a DVI).

A theory i have is maybe my psu: cit pentium p4 500u.
I also have:
4 gigs of ddr3 ram
intel qaud core i5 3.3ghz
Gigabyte GA-H61MA-D2V mother board

the gpu fans seems to be running (aswell as all other fans) and theres no beeps.

any help would be apreciated.

updating your bios will make everything works good , i had same isuue with p61 motherboard and a 970gtx . bios update and it works.

updated the BIOS Successfully. still the same problem 🙁. Any other suggestions? Ive disabled my int graphics chip, and that didnt work.

This may be a typo but you said using a vga from my motherboard to your monitor. Is it plugged in the motherboard or the graphics card? It needs to be plugged into the graphics card.
