Hey guys this is really noob of me, but I could very much use your help because I want to assemble a PC that will me work and play. I work in video and image editing, so I need to run heavy projects in premier smoothly as well as PS. I also game from time to time, but usually can't because of all the work.

I live in venezuela where as you probably know economy is <Mod Edit> so could you break down a build so I can buy parts individually but I would need probably more than a year to buy all parts so ideally the choices would not be things that get old so quickly, and when i have my PC in around a year it won't feel like 5 years behind!

Thanks for all the help sorry for not perfect English!

Good luck finding a decent video card until at least the end of next month. I'd recommend an RTX 3060 or an RTX 3060 Ti for 1080P resolution. The RTX 3060 is due out next month for a suggested retail of $329.

Intel build with B460 board and 2666MHz RAM.

My monitor resolution is pretty <Mod Edit> too 1600x900 but it's also something I plan on improving!

In terms of budget, I plan to be buying these parts throughout the whole year so perhaps I will be able to play with the budget a bit, if you can help me with 2 builds, let's say an IDEAL one, and then a medium one (under 2k), and a friend in the US will receive them for me, so suppliers won't be a problem.

Hey do you think these will run premier and PS Smoothly? other have been recommending builds that go around 1800$, which I think I can manage, do you have any recommendations on that front?

it's all about the resolution. The higher the resolution you game on the more expensive video card you will need. I game on a 24" 1080P with all settings on high so that I get plenty of FPS without breaking the bank. The fastest system I posted was that second Intel build with the Z490 board followed by the AMD build. On a good note gaming monitors are coming down in price while most other components such as video cards, motherboards and cpu's are going up in price due to a shortage in chips. You can purchase a solid 24" 1080P 144Hz monitor with Free Sync for under $200.
