Hello I would like to build my first gaming pc for emulation and gaming. I am really only looking to emulate PS3 and older and as for gaming Im not planning on playing the latest and greatest games on it. If someone could please help me pick out my parts I would greatly appreciate it. I have been watching alot of videos online and found a ton of outdated info please help me.. also I would like to stay in the 500 to 600 dollar range if possible if not I can just buy the parts a little at a time

Solution
Okay, revised build. Reduced the CPU to the Pentium G4560, this is still a great little CPU with hyperthreading. Also bumped down the GPU to the plain 1050, this is not a big reduction in performance. Changed the mobo from a B350 to an A320 mobo. Used the monies saved to pay for the OS and keyboard/mouse.

You don't state if you need: Operating System (OS); Monitor; keyboard/mouse; Wifi and/or Bluetooth connectivity. Also, which country will you be purchasing in as it makes a difference to availability and pricing. Supply any preferred online vendors you wish to use.

The build below contains components which will support most games at 1080p at High/Ultra settings. Determine if you will need this and we can re-evaluate the build once you have answered. To view/edit the build just click on the first link.

Thank you very much for you help. I forgot to mention I am in the USA, and I assume I probably will need an operating system. As far as a monitor I'm planning on keeping this close to my TV and using that. I will probably need a keyboard/mouse for initial setup but I may have one around but mostly will be using a console controller. I'm planning on just using Ethernet so no on the wifi. Again thank you very much for your help

Solution
ok, with OS and Keyboard mouse: for $600 you might be out of luck given the sudden doubling of GPU prices
