I'm trying to make the move over to pc from console. I would like for it to be a hackintosh if in the budget but it's not a deal breaker. I case people are wondering, I want a hackintosh because I love osx for everyday web browsing and for school. But I also want to be able to game. My budget is around 800 with an so included. Mouse and keyboard would be nice but not a deal breaker. I would like a SSD to put the os's on but if it doesn't fit the budget then it's fine. Thank you for any help that any of you can give me. The games I want to play are bf4 and cod4 tf2 and Garry's mod. Thanks again.

If all you do is use OSX for web browsing and school..... why do you need OSX?

Unless by school you mean those few art programs. A Hackintosh is "technically" free anyways. Also i'm pretty sure it's not that easy and requires a bit of advanced computer knowledge. You could just buy an iMac if you want to browse the web with Safari so bad.

But, this system should be able to play those games, I'm going to come in at $700 and let you decide how much you want to spend on a keyboard and mouse, as good ones usually run about $50-80 dollars a piece:

This includes California sales tax for the Newegg parts, so if you live a state with online sales tax it will more accurately reflect the price you'll actually be paying.

If you had $900 you could a get a better system (not including mouse and keyboard), I didnt go to the full 800 or over it so you still have money for the mouse and keyboard you want, as good ones usually cost about $50+ dollars.

I already have a 2011 iMac but giving it to my parents. I guess it's just preference that I love osx way more than windows. But I also wanted to game. Thank you for the quick response. How much better would you say it would be if I could go to 900? If you don't mind can I have an example?
