Hello guys, I have very strange problem with my internet network... I have two laptops, one is with 32bit win7 and other one with 64bit win7... both of them cant open most of websites except google, youtube and few other sites, anything else says This webpage is not available. I'm currently connected with cable, first i thought the problem is with wireless router so i connect them with ethernet cabel, everything is same. I tried with reboots on modem, different drivers on laptops.... When i'm pinging the sites i cant open, it says Timed out. To make things more strange, i have the same problem even on my iphone 4.. Today ISP service came, everything was fine, they connect their laptop and everything was perfect, but my both laptops and iphone cant open most of the website... Please help me, i will flip the table....

It sounds like it could be an issue with DNS. You can diagnose if that is the problem by changing the DNS servers manually on one of your machines to 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 which are some good public dns servers. (Guide: http://www.opennicproject.org/configure-your-dns/how-to-change-dns-servers-in-windows-7/)

If that works, then you can override the DNS servers to those addresses in your router, which will automatically apply to all machines connected. It could still be an issue with your router though. The ISPs tech could have had DNS servers overridden in windows which would allow his machine to work correctly even when connected to your router.

Troubleshooting results says - "Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (www.microsoft.com (or any other page that dont open)) is not responding" ... im currently connected through 3G on my iphone, there is no problem with any page...

Everything was fine... i was traveling for the weekend and i unplug the power from modem and router.. Yesterday i connected them back, and from then this is going on...

Go to start and type in the search box "internet settings" and press the first choice that comes up. Then go to the "connections' tab and press "LAN settings". Make sure that only the first box on the top is clicked "automatic configuration of settings" or something like that I have Greek windows so idk exactly how it is in English.

Try to reset your rooter. Unplug everything from it and press the reset button ( it should be a small button located at the back usually) for about 10 seconds and then release it. Then plug everything in and connect it with Ethernet to your laptop. Search cmd in the start menu, open it and press these: "ipconfig /release" click enter then "ipconfig /flushdns" click enter and then "ipconfig /renew". Update here with a result.
