Looks like the 5000 is an easy overclocker gets to 3.2 fairly easy from what I've been seeing. Don't know to much about the 5600 though.
3.4 Gs on air is one of the better marks I've seen. I take my 5400 to 3.355 and it sarts to struggle. Extra volts does seem to make much differance, haven't tried to go over 1.40. That and I'm pretty much just using AOD.(To lazy to pull off the side case and reset the bios.lol)

Heres a Tip UF; A lot of the new M/Bs will allow reaccessing the BIOS after a failed BIOS tuning by shutting down the P/S until the M/Bs residual energy dies, sometimes takes about 30sec depending on M/B when M/B LED lights go out, then repower and directly access the BIOS, to reset.

Yours may also have that capability, saves a lot of CMOS resetting and doesn't actually clear the CMOS, just allows a reset on your part, check it out, your M/B may have that feature. Ry

I did not know that. Nor did I find it in the manuel that came with board.
However I do usually flip the switch on the PS,and go do something else for a few minutes. I've only had to use the jumper once so far.

Now if I could find out the functions of some of the bios settings. I can find the definitions. May have to start a thread when I get back from Reno.

Thanks 4 the info Ry
