I don't have too much options to choose cause a live in Chile and here you have to stick to the options in the stores. The thing is I have 4 options:
Powercolor 64MB AGP ATI RADEON 8500 EVIL MASTER II - +62
TARJ.SVGA 64MB GEFORCE 3 DDR CHAMALEON TI EDITION - +44
gf 4mx 440 prolink - 0
or an asus gf4 mx440 64mb - +17

The cards price is not important 'cause the price is different here in my countrie. So i wrote the difference of the prices in dolars, the prolink mx 440 is the cheapest and the asus costs 17 dolars more for example.

My question is wich card should i get, the geforce 4 ti is out of question because it costs twice the radeon 8500. Original Ati cards are too expensive too (i haven't too much money) Are the powercolor a bad brand? some people told me that the powercolor card were bad cards. Can you people help me choosing one of these cards please. I dont know if the directx 8.1 of the radeon 8500 is too important.

I have a duron 900 that i'm planning to upgrade to a xp1700+, 256 MB Ram, and a Inno 3d TNT2 M64 32Mb.

I'd definitely vote for the GF3 Chamaleon ed.
Thats your best shot at good compatibility/great graphics and it sounds like you'll get a good price on it.

The Radeon 8500 is the fastest card on that list, however, the Evil Master is clocked relitively low compaired to most 8500s. I'd go with either the GF3 or the 8500. The 8500 is probably a bit better, so it's probably the one to go with.

I don't need an anti-virus program, I just boil my computer once a week.
