[SOLVED] HELP COMPUTER WONT BOOT WHEN NEW RAM INSTALLED

My computer refuses to boot at all when I insert new ram it only works when I put in the old ram I made sure everything fits all the computer does when it boots up is beep 5 long times then repeats I get a black screen and the keyboard and mouse don’t turn on I have a gigabyte ga-ma790gp-ud4h

Specs of the old and new ram.
Did you make sure the new stick(s) were compatible with your motherboard?
It's also possible that one, or maybe both ram sticks are bad. Try booting using one stick at a time(I'm assuming you have two sticks).
