Hi Folks,

I am looking to upgrade from my old 4790k and currently have 3500x/3500/i5 9400f on my radar.

The 9th gen i5 is dead cheap here(india) and the entire party of CPU+ Mobo + 8x2 DDR4 HyperX would cost me around 250$. Ryzen CPUs on the other hand have become too pricy!,
The CPU alone would cost me 240-270$ for 3500/3600 and RAM+ Mobo would run me another 100$ atleast.

Is 3600/3500 that big of an upgrade compare to 9400f ??

Oh i just game and code on my machine nothing too demanding and would the i5 be enough to run cyberpunk at 1080p60 ?

My Specs:
Rtx 2060 Super
i7-4790k @ 5Ghz
12 GB DDR3
RM750 Corsair power supply

I am looking at gigabyte aorus wifi elite costs 11k including gst... Board looks and feels like😍... Reviews seem to be ok ... Any thoughts??
The thing about B450 boards is most of them do not support 3000 out of the box. You'll have to tell the retailer to update bios and send it. If you want 3000 out of the box, MSI B450 "MAX" labelled boards are the only choice. If you're going to a retail store he'll probably just update it for you

Even performance wise, the Tomahawk Max is superior. Tomahawk Max II is 11.4k on Amazon right now.

Sure but Asrock has a really bad bios compared to the others. Not a concern really. But in India I'd choose a part like this based on customer service :p. Tomahawk Max is best B450. Pro vdh MAX would be second imo
