ok so for christmas i got my first gaming build from my dad who got it from a guy who built it pretty poorly, it has an intel i7(a dated one however), 6 gigs of ram, an awesome case, decent graphics card, it all worked fine i had no issues, however i recently moved across the country and we had movers move our things for us, when i took my desktop out of the box again and plug it in it did not start, at first the fans fluttered and the lights flashed for a moment but it didnt fully turn on, i tried multiple times and never got it working, i am very software handy but not so much hardware, but i made an effort to take apart this build, i fully disconnected everything, making notes of which goes where, i know how to put everything back together, but here is the problem, i did put everything back together and it didnt even show signs of turning on, nothing at all, i tried bread boarding it, only connecting what needed to be connected, and tried using a screwdriver to connect the pins that turn on the machine, still nothing, i went to best buy and bought a brand new 600w psu because i thought that was the problem, but still same result. so this is where i am, i need to know if at this point i sould replace my motherbord or my cpu, at that point would a brand new motherboar and cpu be garunteed to make my computer turn on? if that is the case some suggestions for a budget cpu motherboard combo would be greatly appreciated. P.S. i have already tried contacting the guy who build this, no answers ):
