Hello, I am thinking about upgrading my PC. My current specs are:
CPU- i5 4590
RAM- 16GB ddr3
GPU- GTX 1060 6gg
Power supply is a EVGA 550 80+ silver rated 2 years old this upcoming December.
Not concerned of my storage/case as I know they’re good.

I was thinking of upgrading the mobo + processor + ram, and have been strongly considering a ryzen processor with 8 cores/16 threads, compatible motherboard, and 16 gigs of nice ddr4 ram along with I would like to have a nvme boot drive and for the few games I still play. I would like any suggestions that anybody may have on what would be the best and most practical options. I play mainly World of Warcraft and sometimes here and there other games but not often. I would like my PC to be powerful enough for anything I might get my hands into such as entry level recording and or editing.
Thank You :)

It's best that you list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:

For us to understand what you're working with and if what you deem recyclable is actually worth the recycling, such as the PSU. As PSU's age, they'll output less power.
