Help Deciding what to get.

cpu: Intel I5-3570k cpu@3.4GHz
mobo: ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
Ram: 8gb patriot Sector 5 pc3-10666 1333mhz 9-9-9-24
Cooling:Hyper 212 evo
Gpu: Geforce GTX 770
Tower: HAF 932 Case
PSU: Thermaltake TR2-600w PSU

Now I got around $350.

Would upgrading my ram help w/gaming. From looking at the mobo specs for ram think I can go higher.
Ive been looking at the reviews for the Radeon RX 480 & Im abit concerned about the Power Consuption on the Pci-e, Been considering the 970 but pricey. Not a fanboy but I do like GeForce. had both companies gpu's in the past. But Radeon is cheaper or should I just wait and just save the money for a hole new system in about 6 to 8 months. Playing Black Desert Online and others games.

My PC is about 3 yrs old.

I would get the rx 480 at that price point. Don't be too worried about the issues concerning the card, it will perform great and is head and shoulders better than anything else at that price point.

Are you playing at 1080p? Your system is well balanced which means that one component change will not make a huge difference. I would wait another year and consider a 1440p gaming system at that time if are inclined to move up in resolution.

In a nutshell: AMD is aware of the issue and working on a software-based fix, and also their partners have some options as far as overbuilding their power delivery solutions to take some of the load off the PCIe slot. So if you can wait a bit, I'd hold off and see what the partner cards look like before deciding.
