help finding a case for gtx 970

was wondering if you guys could help me pick out a case for it, 100$ or so is good for me

You sir need the NZXT Phantom 410. Keep in mind that once you remove drive bays with that case you have only 2 drive bays left. Which is good.. (1 SSD, 1 HDD)

Nice card. Anything from NZXT, Phanteks or corsair will do you well. Check out the NZXT S340.

Something similar to the S340 is the H440. All three options are great options

Guys , this GB GTX 970 is not 9.3inch (as newegg says) but 129mm = 5.07 inch !!!

Don't get what? MSI and Gigabyte make the best performing cards, the Asus looks the best IMO but can't OC very well.

You can't say that MSI makes the best performing card. Gigabyte wins for cooling, Asus for noise, and EVGA for overall solidity of a card. MSI is not the best for anything, to me they are like a lower version of MSI

The MSI is just as quiet as the ASUS, and performs nearly as well as the Gigabyte.
So it's the best of both worlds.

The MSI is just as quiet as the ASUS, and performs nearly as well as the Gigabyte.

^ Why strix and ACX over TF5?

ACX2 has a flawed design, Strix is great but not a great overclocker compared to MSI and Gigabyte.

Strix because I don't OC my GPUs. Also has a back plate which makes it more appealing, Not to mention that the TF5 is so in your face with it's color scheme that I bought a 970 strix. And the reason I didn't get a G1 is because of it's noise, size, power consumption plus I like pair mobo with GPUs. (I have the Hero 7)

Nice. The Strix is great, I nearly got one myself. I wouldn't have gone with MSI if I didn't have a black/red build.

I know right, haha.
Man I kinda regret not getting the Strix, I love it's design, backplate and 8 pin power.
But I left it too long, and only the MSI was available. The good OC potential made me go for it.
I've been researching sooo much since I ordered it trying to convince myself that the MSI is heaps better than the ASUS so I don't get buyers remorse HAHA.

MSI will be just find don't worry about it. The only cards that stand out the most are gigabyte's.. (Not necessarily a good thing) You did get the 970 though I assume?

Yeah I got the MSI 970. Good reviews everywhere so far and I wanted a silent card at low loads.
I asked for them to send the Strix instead but they'd already sent it and had none left in stock anyway.
Oh well. I'll just OC the hell out of it until it performs better than the ASUS could and that'll keep me happy.
