budget : £650

uses: uni so needs long battery life and decent keyboard. decent built is valued highly as it needs to last 5 years

would like i5, 8gb ram, 256ssd

Just uni things

An average day would be lots of use of microsoft word, youtube, social media, and anki. thats sort of it i think! Just needs to last around 8 hours but i dont know if i can get this with my budget

was looking at the Huawei matebook - on amazon there are a tonne of bad reviews that are putting me off it so i'm not sure!

Apparently google is stopping supplying android updates to huawei.

ARM (uk based) also isnt supplying huawei with any more chips for their phone.

I was concidering an huawei honor 7c awhile back but im glad i just bought an lg.

i need to make a decision today sorry ive been looking so long just need some advice

basically i've narrowd it down to a few but i cant choose one. i really do need a pretty decent battery life, like 7.5 hours, and i cant seem to get a good one for my budget. from 20 ive narrowed it down to

theres also an AMD version which i think has worse battery
theres no reviews for this one but lenovo says it has 12 hours battery so it should have around 8 hours right? also, its got an i3 8th gen so wont be as fast as any of the others

ppl are saying this one is good but doesnt its a bit small (13.3) not sure if thats ok for all day typing?

Manufacturers always make big claims and you should only treat that as a rough estimate or to make comparisons.

If your preference is long battery life, then choose a laptop that has a small screen, big battery and no hard drive.

but if keyboard is your top priority, then get the Lenovo Thinkpad E590.
