Hi everyone,
How are you? Hope you're doing great.

I'm building my first Gaming PC (Red Beast) so I need some help about compatibility.
I've ordered half of main items but I'm confused about some items so I haven't ordered that yet. I thought I should get some advice from here before ordering everything.

I've ordered these items down below:
1: NZXT H440 Mid Tower Case.
2: MSi 970 Gaming MoBo.
3: AMD FX4350 4.2GHz AM3+.
4: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 2400MHz (I know my MoBo supports 2133MHz but it's Ok).
5: Corsair H100i V2 Water Cooler Hydro Series.

Are they compatible with each others? Does these items fits with casing? Is everything compatible with other things?

Also, I'm just waiting for GPU because I don't understand which is better.
1: MSi R7 370 4G ($165).
2: MSi R9 380 4G ($220).
3: MSi GTX 960 4G ($225).

R7 370 and R9 380 have same specs. Both have 5700MHz, 256Bit and 4GB so why price difference? And GTX 960 has 7010MHz, 256Bit and 4GB.
(I want Red GPU that's why I'm choosing MSi because my entire setup is Red/Black).

So the question is that should I buy GTX 960 just for 7010MHz or should I go with R7 370? 5700MHz and 7010MHz but price difference is very high. (I'm not sure about R9 380 so you guys can help me about R9 380 and R7 370 difference).

I've mentioned everything. Kindly help me with GPU and which Power Supplier suits for my Red Beast after selecting GPU because I don't know about Watts.

And last thing is Corsair SP120 Twin Pack Fans. I've seen so many people replacing original fans of Corsair H100i V2 Water Cooler Hydro Series with these Twin Pack of SP120. Should I replace that fans too? Does it makes any difference?

Thanks,
-Shakir Durrani

Hello :D

That build is horribly unbalanced. I would highly suggest going with an Intel based system, since most AMD platforms are very dated.

Don't look at GPU Specs instead look at Benchmarks and see which GPU has the most FPS for games you wanna play and at your desired Resolution.

Something like this makes more sense you can tweak it your liking: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Z72btJ

You can go for an AMD GPU those are usually good value, or if you want upgrade to an i5/i7 or down to a Pentium/Celeron.

BTW That Liquid Cooler is overkill for that CPU a Hyper 212 EVO or Stock Cooler will do just fine.

@Kasol Kay
I can't go with Intel because I've already ordered these items and MSi 970 doesn't support Intel CPU, it's AM3+.

@superninja12
No that's not possible because I live in Pakistan and I've ordered everything from Amazon to Dubai then from Dubai to Pakistan. It's very hard to send them back to Dubai and then contact Amazon to return without any fault.

I see, here's a list of supported CPU's: https://www.msi.com/file/test_report/TR19_3193.pdf

For the GTX 960 to work you'll need a decent PSU brand and around 400-500 Watts, but you might experience a Bottle-Neck with that fairly meek CPU.

well u think that wrong like u did with your current pc build , its awful sorry.

and don't bother wasting money on those fans, unless u want some fancy less but they still make amount of noise.
if u want to get rid of the noise u need to get noctua nf f12 pwm fans.

I'm ready to buy another CPU around $100-150 but AM3+ so tell me which one should I get? Ready to get another one!
Case: NZXT H440.
MoBo: MSi 970 Gaming.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB.
Cooler: Corsair H100i V2 Water Cooler Hydro.
Are they OK? Now tell me which CPU should I get and which GPU?
CPU should be around $100-150 and GPU should be around $200.

I just requested return for my items. Some items were rejected. So now I have these items down below.
Case: NZXT H440.
MoBo: MSi 970 Gaming.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB.

So now I have MoBo, Case and RAM. Will you guys guide me further?
CPU (AM3+), GPU, PSU and Cooler. I'll go get them if you guys help me. Thanks.

try to sell the mobo on ebay and whats yours budget?

please understand that this path is dead from 2009-2012 you will never play games on high or ultra.
besides league of legends ofc. Every amd chip will bottleneck a gtx 970.
the cheapest solution is now.

however if u want to continue , fx 8320 / gtx 960 and a seasonic s12ii psu. i sought ur budget was limited but maybe this fits.

Hmm! Now I understand, but as I told you that I live in Pakistan, there's no eBay, no Amazon, no Newegg etc... So situation is like I'm forced to use this MoBo now and nobody will ever buy this MoBo in Pakistan because they will have to order other parts from Amazon and Amazon doesn't deliver in Pakistan. So now I'll get FX8320 and GTX 960. And honestly, I don't wanna play very high end games. I'll play games like CS:GO, COD (All), GTA V, Prototype and similar games.
