Hi guys, hoping you guys can help me. I have a Gigabyte M750SLI-DS4 motherboard which has been ok until recently. I was thinking about upgrading my CPU to a AM3 chip but in order to do that i needed to upgrade my BIOS to the latest version, which is F8K. I downloaded the BIOS files and loaded them onto a USB drive. I ran Q-Flash in the BIOS, updated the BIOS, it said it was successful, i exited and it rebooted. After the screen went black I can hear the computer is still on but there is no video signal. After a couple minutes of it just sitting there with no video signal i reset the computer and it did the same thing. Supposedly these Gigabyte boards have some dual BIOS thing that is suppose to recover the system if the BIOS fails to load but it's not kicking in. Do you guys have any ideas on how to get my system back up and running? At this point i just want a working computer again, if i can't get the BIOS updated so be it. Thanks.

Ok so, now that my panic mode has settled down a bit i got it working. Unfortunately the latest version will not work. I was able to restore back to the old version 5 of the software by resetting the CMOS jumper. From there i was able get to the Q-Flash on the BIOS, then i loaded up the USB with the old software from a laptop and reinstalled the old BIOS. It boots again and is working like before.

Well, it says the Dual BIOS is for GA-965P-DQ6 and GA-965P-DS4 only . But am going thru the manual right now and will let you know , maybe , stepwise if that is possible to recover the OLD BIOS.
In the mean time, if you have a copy of the old BIOS somewhere try to re-flash it using a USB stick or the CD that came with the Mobo.
