Hi my mac is working slow and i want to format but i wan to know if i download a retail version of El capitan it will work? because i cant do ir from appstore, my os delete the installer everytime.

Help i need to download El capitan from an external OS, because my mac delete the installer when the download end.
Is there a link to get it?

You can only download El Capitan using the Apple Store on an OS X machine. The download should leave the installer in your Applications folder. On a recent Mac you can do an Internet install to a blank machine. What model and year is your Mac?
